These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of this website and to any purchase you make from ShiftShield™ ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Using our store
You must be at least the age of majority where you live to place an order. You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, not to interfere with how it works, and not to try to access it in ways we haven't made available.
2. Products and pricing
We do our best to describe and show our products accurately. Colours on your screen may look slightly different in real life. Prices are shown in US dollars and can change at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
Pack prices (for example, 3 pairs for $37.50 or 5 pairs for $50) are applied automatically in your cart. If you remove pairs from a pack, the pack price may no longer apply.
3. Orders and payment
When you place an order, you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you're authorized to use the payment method. We may refuse or cancel an order, or limit quantities, for example if a product is unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.
Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We don't store your full card details.
4. Shipping
Delivery times and costs are explained on our Shipping & Returns page. Delivery dates are estimates, and we're not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control.
5. Returns, refunds and our 1-year guarantee
You can return your order within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, even if you've worn or washed the socks. If a pair wears through within a year from normal use, we'll replace it free. The full details are on our Shipping & Returns page and form part of these Terms.
6. Comfort, not medical advice
ShiftShield™ socks are designed for comfort during long shifts on your feet. They are not a medical device and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you have ongoing foot pain, an injury or a medical condition, please talk to a doctor or podiatrist.
Our socks are not personal protective equipment and don't replace the safety footwear your job requires.
7. Reviews and content you share
If you send us a review, photo or other content, you confirm it's yours and accurate, and you give us permission to use, display and share it (including on our website and social media) without payment. We may remove content that's misleading, offensive or unlawful.
8. Our content
Everything on this site, including the ShiftShield™ name, logos, text, photos and design, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
9. Third-party services
Our site may link to or use services run by other companies, such as payment providers and shipping carriers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we're not responsible for their content or services.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we provide the site and our products "as is", and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover any losses or claims against us that result from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted here, with its "last updated" date, applies to any order you place after that date.
